Warranty

Zwickler, warrants parts purchased from its Spare Parts Store as follows:

1) For defects in materials and workmanship of valves, pumps, clamps, electronic components, VFDs, grain mills, etc. for a period of one (1) year from receipt by the user.

2) For expendable parts such as gaskets, seals, belts, etc. for a period of thirty (30) days from receipt by the user.

During the warranty period, Zwickler will either, at its sole option, repair or replace product components that prove to be defective.

Should PKW be unable to repair or replace the product within a reasonable period of time, the Customer’s sole alternate exclusive remedy shall be a refund of the purchase price upon return of the product.

Customer Responsibilities

This warranty shall not apply to defects or malfunctions resulting from improper use by the customer, unauthorized modification, misuse, improper installation, or improper maintenance.

Obtaining Warranty Service

To obtain warranty service, products must be returned to the PKW factory, provided that a return authorization (“RA”) is obtained prior to returning the item. To obtain a retain authorization please contact customerservice@portlandkettleworks.com. In the event repair is authorized, the customer shall prepay all charges for shipping products to the factory and PKW shall pay all shipping charges for the return of the products to the customer.

Limitation of Warranty

Zwickler MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO ANY PRODUCT. PKW SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT SHALL PKW BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Exclusive Remedies

The remedies provided herein are the customer’s sole and exclusive remedies.
